Today was epic. Just got back home from Hollywood haha. Let’s back up a bit, shall we? So yeah, I thought we weren’t gonna be able to make it to the showing of Exit Through Through The Gift Shop in LA, but just a couple days ago Jon, Jesus, and I decided to go up to LA to watch it. The movie started at 7:30, so we left at 3-ish just in case we hit traffic. We ended up getting there much earlier than expected, which was around 5. I didn’t really look at the maps and I just read the directions, so I didn’t know what part of LA we’d be in. Ended up being Hollywood!
The trip up there seemed pretty quick so we had a bunch of time to kill. Kinda got lost for awhile, but we ended up having just enough time to look for and get to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, which was only 2 miles from the theater was at. Dude. Roscoe’s = jizz in my pants. Seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. And to top it off, it was right in between Sunset Blvd and Hollywood Blvd.
We made it to the theater just in time. It was one of those small theaters that only shows indie films and such. legiiiiit place. Oh and the gay guy from Mean Girls was there. The movie itself was absolutely brilliant. Banksy, “MBW,” and all the other artists in the film are freaking geniuses. If you have the chance to watch Exit Through The Gift Shop, WATCH IT!
Headed back home right after the movie. The trip back seemed even shorter so we decided go Sonic. Damn, we’re fat. But it was a great way to end the night. I miss Hollywood haha. Definitely gotta go back sometime, and I wanna hit up the other Roscoe’s too.
I spent so much money this past weekend -__-. It’s all good though. I’ll gladly spend money if it means spending time with my friends. =]
Here’s to an awesome October.
